how it began
OUR STORY
The Styled journey is one that I’m super proud of, after years dreaming that someday I would have my very own boutique the time has come to open the door in the heart of my very own city of Chester.
After completing my professional training in dance I moved to London to start my career where I spent 6 years working in a handful of West End shows along with an amazing 4 years touring & making fab memories in a girlband.
Whilst in London I got the chance to also tap into my other passion, FASHION!! I worked as a buyer for two independent labels & got to experience how to deliver top notch customer service whilst working in Harrods.
Once home to Chester myself & my best-friend opened HOUSE OF DANCE, a fun & vibrant dance company based in Chester. We decided to create HOD Clothing, our very own fun brand of all things cool & comfy which was & still is a huge success.
I soon realised Chester was missing something, a independent laidback brand with 5 star service for all ages & sizes.
MOVING FORWARD
OUR STORY
So fast forward 6 years & Styled was born.
My mum played a huge part in Styled, she herself spent her life in retail & loved fashion so I guess that’s why it’s even more special. I sadly lost both my mum & dad just before COVID hit. Styled was my sanctuary through the lockdowns & it really did help me to feel close to her. We really went from strength to strength as we offered private personal shopping slots & FB Lives to keep the local ladies fully stocked up on the trendiest comfy attire.
We soon outgrew our out of town location so in 2022 we took the leap of faith & opened in the beautiful historic city of Chester.
